INBC's Events

Each year, INBC holds two major, all-day events:

  • The Annual Bazaar, our flagship event is typically held in Indianapolis each March.  The Bazaar usually features a nationally-known headliner, workshops, the largest shopping opportunity of the year, and a fabulous gala show.  Click here to jump to the Bazaar.
  • Summer’s End is a more intimate event held in August or September.  Summer’s End is an all-day event typically held outside of Indianapolis and co-sponsored or hosted by one of our member troupes.  Click here to jump to Summer’s End.

We also co-host many smaller scale events throughout the year through our Event Partnership Program, sponsor information tables, engage in community outreach, and participate in other activities.  Be sure to check our homepage, calendar, Facebook and Instagram pages, and sign up for our mailing list (from the homepage) to stay on top of all  our upcoming events, appearances, and more.

About the Annual Bazaar

The Annual Bazaar is INBC’s flagship event.  Typically held in March, the Bazaar features:

  • Workshops from some of Indiana’s finest professional dancers
  • Shopping galore, including a large swap ‘n’ shop area
  • A nationally-known headliner presenting workshops and performing in the gala show
  • Networking opportunities
  • The biggest and best belly dance show of the year

The 2025 Annual Bazaar is coming to Indianapolis on March 1, and will feature the wonderful Istra teaching 2 workshops and performing in the gala show.  Click here for all the details.

About Summer's End

Summer’s End is an annual INBC-sponsored event.  Typically held in August or September, Summer’s End is hosted by area dance troupes on a rotating basis.  One goal is to increase inclusion by holding an event OUTSIDE of the Indianapolis area.  Like the Bazaar, Summer’s End typically includes workshops, shopping, swap ‘n’ shop, networking, and a fabulous gala show, but presented in a more intimate setting.

The date and location for the 2025 Summer’s have not been set yet.  Our 2024 Summer’s End event was hosted by Troupe Oasis in Lafayette, Indiana, and was a huge success!  We are grateful to Deb Kull and the whole troupe for all the hard work they put in.  Click here to visit the Eventbrite page for the 2024 event.
