Spring is in full swing – Layali Belly Dance Company and Allure Dance are celebrating World Belly Dance Day with special guest Liah Mazz! Enjoy a full day of workshops, shopping, Gala Show featuring the Shimmy Mob dancers, and special guest Liah Mazz!
Meet Liah!
Liah Mazz was born in Brazil. She started Belly Dance in 2003 and also has an extensive background in Ballet, Jazz, Brazilian Ballroom and street dance. She took classes with Tito Seif, Mohamed Shahin, Randa Kamel, Mahaila El Helwa, Soraya Zaied, Jade El Jabel, Lulu Sabongi just to name a few. Liah holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education and is also a Personal Trainer. Before relocating to the United States in October 2017, she had a dance studio in Brazil for 10 years. Since then, she has been teaching classes in Columbus, IN.

- 11:45 – 12:30 Intro to Belly Dance Workshop with Ashley Donaldson
- 12:45 – Workshop #1 with Liah – Mejanse (Egyptian Style)
- 2:30 – Workshop #2 with Liah – Drum Solo
- 7:00 pm – Gala Showcase featuring the 2025 Shimmy Mob and Liah Mazz!
Vendors will be on site selling various items including hip scarves, t-shirts and other goodies.
